E’ Lecturer nel Master post-Laurea in Progettazione Interattiva, Sostenibile e Multimedialità (Università di Roma Tre), visiting professor presso varie università europee e collabora con i Laboratori di Educazione Ambientale della Provincia di Roma e con il Parco Regionale dei Monti Lucretili promuovendo corsi sulle tematiche dello sviluppo sostenibile. Nel 2008 è stato guest Lecturer durante i lavori dell'UIA World Congress e co-tutor nel workshop internazionale Transmitting the sustainable city.
Attualmente, le sue ricerche sono concentrate sui possibili e profondi mutamenti paradigmatici e metodologici che le recenti scoperte scientifiche (teoria dei sistemi complessi, morfogenesi e biofilia) possono indurre in architettura e, più ingenerale, nel progetto urbano.
E' Editor in Chief della rivista internazionale di Biourbanistica Biourbanism.
